Our Mission

Our goal is to give everyone who is enchanted with traditional Bulgarian music and dance the opportunity to learn from original source presenters – people teaching music and dance from their own native areas – and from other Bulgarian music experts at the Academy.

Bulgarian Folk Music & Dance Seminar: July 31-August 6, 2025

The Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts “Prof. Asen Diamandiev” (Music Academy), known for offering the highest level of folk music study in Bulgaria, has developed an excellent program that blends the skills of professional teachers with the authenticity of villagers from various parts of Bulgaria. This Seminar, founded in 2005, offers a different educational approach that brings the village presenters to you, the student, rather than having you travel to the village.
